Phuket job fair opens 2,500 roles ahead of high season

On 18 August, Phuket’s Hotel Job Fair 2026 brought a clear hiring signal: more than 2,500 jobs, 100 companies and 1,017 registered job seekers at The Pago Design Hotel.

What happened

Employers from hotels, tourism and related service businesses came together as they prepared for the island’s high season. Eighty companies recruited and interviewed in person at the venue, while 20 joined online.

Who should pay attention

For local residents, this is a direct opportunity to find work without a long wait. The openings covered recent graduates, experienced applicants and people looking to move into hotel, food service, hospitality and other tourism roles.

Why it matters

Phuket is entering the part of the year when businesses need to hire quickly. A job fair makes that process easier: one visit, multiple employers, and a chance to interview on the spot.

What to do next

If you are job hunting, keep your CV, documents and contact details ready. These hiring events usually fill some roles fast, and the most in-demand positions go first.
